We offer diverse and transparent recruitment channels that focus on job skills and core competencies to select the most suitable colleagues to work with. In 2021, the male-to-female ratio of our workforce was 1:1, and the retention and return-to-work rates for colleagues on parental leave were both 100%. Over 50% of our colleagues have been with us for more than 5 years, and we are committed to creating a happy workplace that fosters stable retention of excellent talent and gender equality and inclusiveness.

Employee Welfare Policy

The Employee Welfare Committee was established in accordance with Taiwan law and includes allocations for welfare funds. Both labor and management jointly supervise the use and custody of the funds and implement various welfare measures, such as providing birthday vouchers, gifts for Dragon Boat Festival and Mid-Autumn Festival, as well as offering employee wedding and funeral subsidies and emergency relief funds.

Labor Insurance and National Health Insurance

PhytoHealth provides Labor Insurance and National Health Insurance for our employees. Employees' parents, spouses, and children may also be insured under the name of employees as well.

Follow Labor Standards Act

Our company follows the Labor Standards Act and related regulations to establish various salary standards, attendance and leave policies, and welfare measures. We also provide performance bonuses based on regular evaluations and share profits with our employees.

The Rights and Interests of Employees

We practice corporate social responsibility, protect the rights and interests of employees, follow all labor laws and regulations, allocate Labor Pension Funds to Individual Accounts, and insure employees for Labor Insurance, Health Insurance, and Group Life Insurance. Our retirement system does not distinguish between new and old systems and is processed in accordance with legal regulations. We have established an employee welfare committee to fight for the best benefits for our employees. During the 2007 Financial Crisis and COVID-19 Pandemic, we did not lay off or implement unpaid leave measures and placed the welfare of our employees and their families as a top priority.

Health and Safety of Employees
  • Conducting health education sessions for employees by licensed pharmacists during the weekly meetings on Mondays.
  • Designating a fire safety manager for the Yangmei plant to conduct fire equipment inspections and organize self-defense fire teams, as well as conducting regular fire extinguishing, notification, evacuation, and escape training in compliance with the law.
  • Appointing a labor safety and health management officer to oversee and plan for labor safety business operations.
Staff Career Development
  • Established the "Training and Management Executive Method" to conduct new employee orientation on a quarterly basis. Each department also regularly organizes internal education and training to enhance R&D capabilities and improve production techniques.
  • Organize Managerial Motivation Meetings for managers every month to improve analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Send personnel to participate in external training or seminars related to business ethics or business operations to enhance their professional and competitive capabilities.

Employee Training

Our company values employee education and training and established the "Education and Training Management Measures". On a quarterly basis, we provide new employee orientation training, and each department also regularly holds internal educational training to enhance research and development capabilities and improve production technology. Additionally, we hold monthly "Managerial Motivation Meetings" to cultivate problem-solving skills for our managers. We also actively send employees to participate in external seminars or training sessions related to our business to enhance their professional skills and competitiveness.
